The American College of Cardiology’s Journal of Clinical Electrophysiology (JACC: Clinical Electrophysiology) has selected BME postdoc Dr. Jaclyn Brennan to receive the prestigious 2020 Young Author Achievement Award for her manuscript “Evidence of Superior and Inferior Sinoatrial Nodes in the Mammalian Heart,” which was published in the December issue of JACC: Clinical Electrophysiology. This paper was the main result of her doctoral research. She will receive the award at the 2021 American College of Cardiology Scientific Sessions, to be held in Chicago. Dr. Brennan is a former doctoral student of Dr. Igor Efimov.
