BME Masters Student wins MIPS Award

Kristina Landino, a BME M.S. student, has won one of the Student Scholar Awards offered by the Medical Image Perception Society for attendance and presentation at its 17th biennial meeting this year. She will present a paper "Comparing salience detection algorithms applied to mammograms" in Houston in July.
