As sensing technology gets smaller and more power efficient, capable sensors have started to become ubiquitous in everyday life. My research focuses on the crossroads between cutting edge technology and ultra-portable / wearable sensing networks that can help people of all ages better monitor their health and environments, with the eventual goal of better health management through this connected network. This includes air quality monitoring, microfluidics testing for rapid diagnostics, and an array of biofeedback sensors.

I work on innovative social impact projects in the George Washington Innovation Center. My focus is on finding the intersection between social impact entrepreneurship and engineering, as well as the effect that cross-disciplinary work has on student outcomes. I’m the founder of George Hacks, an organization focusing on healthcare/medical innovation for social impact.
